- Choose ONE of the following Pandemics to Research:
- Cholera
- Influenza
- Smallpox
- Tuberculosis
- Malaria
- Ebola Virus
- Answer the following questions related to the Pandemic you chose:
- What is the basic description/background of the disease? Where did it originate?
- What are the symptoms of the disease? How does it spread?
- How is this disease treated or cured?
- What was the social impact of this disease?
- You must use the Encyclopedia Britannica Resource from the Media Center as your source for today. Directions for what to copy to cite this source are in the video.
- If you need additional information about the disease, use the CDC or WHO websites for further research. Make sure you copy the url of any websites used.
- Use the Encyclopedia Britannica Resource from the Media Center
- Instructions for how to access it are in today's video
- Use the Centers for Disease Control website or the World Health Organization website if you need additional information
- Work on the Research Project
