August 5-9: 9th Grade Lit and Comp

This Week: This week, we will work on wrapping up summer reading, so please bring your copy of Scythe to class every day. Please note that the due date for summer reading assignments is Friday, August 9. Any assignments turned in after August 9 will be considered late. (If you enrolled later in the summer or this week, please send me an email and we can work something out.)

We will start Unit 1 Vocab next week, so make sure you have a Level D Vocab Book by this Friday. If you still need to purchase a vocab book, bring in $17 (exact cash or check made out to Lassiter High School).

• SRI in computer lab

Next week, we will finish summer reading with a writing assignment on Scythe. Please continue to bring your copy of the book to class with you. The Unit 1 Vocab Quiz will also be next week.
