We are reading Shakespeare's original text in class, but you might want to read the Modern Text if you are reading at home and do not understand what is happening.

• Reading Quiz over Acts I and II
• Continue reading Julius Caesar
• 3rd period: We read to Line 234 in Act III, Scene 1, Antony is about to request a few things from the Conspirators.
• 4th and 7th periods: We read to Line 156 in Act III, Scene 1, where Antony is about to come in.

Tuesday, January 21:

• TEDTalk Tuesday!
• Architectural Secrets of the World's Ancient Wonders - Brandon Clifford

• Continue reading Julius Caesar
• All classes: We watched Brutus's funeral speech (Act III, Scene 2, line 70). Tomorrow we will watch Antony's speech and finish Act III.

Wednesday, January 22:

• Unit 10 Vocab HW due at BEGINNING of class
• Continue reading Julius Caesar
• All classes: We finished Act III.

Thursday, January 23:

• Continue reading Julius Caesar
• 3rd Period: We got to the appearance of Caesar's ghost on like 285 of Act IV, Scene 3. We will see what he has to say on Monday before the quiz.
• 4th and 7th Period: We finished Act IV.

Friday, January 24:

• Unit 10 Vocab Quiz

Next week, we will finish reading Julius Caesar. We will have our test next Friday, February 7 - Julius Caesar reading guides are due at the beginning of the class period on February 7.
