October 29-November 2: 9th Grade Lit and Comp

This Week: This week we continue reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Please make sure to have your copy of the book with you in class EVERYDAY. All reading will be done in class. However, if you are absent, it is your responsibility to keep up with the pages read in class on the day(s) you are out. Throughout the week, we will also work on Unit 6 vocabulary with a vocab quiz on Friday.

  • Turn in books for annotation check today
    • Make sure your name is on your book.
    • Chapter summaries (2 to 3 sentences) for Chapters 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
    • Chapter questions (2-3 questions) for Chapters 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
    • Character descriptions for Aunt Alexandra and Calpurnia
    • Additional highlights and margin notes
