September 17-21: 9th Grade Literature & Composition

This Week: We will start off this week with a review of short story terms for our Short Story Test on Tuesday. After the test, students will use this week to continue work Short Story Narrative Assignment that are due on Friday, September 21.

After Fall Break, we will begin reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Students should have a copy of the book by October 1 (the Monday after Fall Break). Copies can typically be found at used bookstores for around, or under, $5. If there is a financial issue that prevents you from getting a copy of the book, please let me know and we can make arrangements.

• Finish Short Story Narratives in the English Lab
• Short Story Narrative Assignment (DUE TODAY BY 11:59 PM)
