It was great to meet you all today! I am looking forward to working with everyone throughout the course of this semester. Please review the resources in my previous blog post, if you have any questions about the summer reading assignment for your class.

Also, remember to bring in $15 cash or check (made out to Lassiter High School) if you still need to purchase a copy of the vocabulary book.

Here is the schedule for the rest of our shortened week:

9th Lit/Comp and 10th World Lit

Wednesday, August 1: Go over syllabus, Getting to Know You questionnaire, Coat of Arms activity
Thursday, August 2: Go over safety persuasions, finish Coat of Arms
Friday, August 3: Review summer reading + supplementary assignment, time in class to work on summer reading activities. Bring a copy of your summer reading book to class with you on Friday.

Important Dates:

• Monday, August 6: Purchase a vocab book and bring it to class
• Wednesday, August 8: Turn in signed syllabus
• Friday, August 10: Summer Reading assignments due, Vocab Unit 1 Quiz
