This Week: Welcome back from break! I hope we're all rested and ready to jump into the middle part of our semester. This week, we will ease back into the routine with two workdays for
The Odyssey Theme Park Project. While this project is due Friday, February 28 (at the BEGINNING of class), Monday and Tuesday are the LAST TWO DAYS that you will have time to work on your project during the class period. Use your time wisely and do not put this project off until the last moment.
On Wednesday, we will start our next unit on William Shakespeare's
Romeo and Juliet. We will be reading the graphic novel in class. I have a class set, so you will not need to purchase your own copy of the book. Please see me or the media center specialists if you need to "check out" a copy of this book for home use.
Lastly, this week, we will be working on Unit 11 Vocab. Homework is due on Thursday (Feb. 27) and the quiz is on Friday (Feb. 28).
If you are absent from class, it is your responsibility to keep up with the reading. Check the Google Calendar below to see what we have read in class each day. Linked above is the full digital text for The Odyssey that is the same version as the book we have in class.
