February 24-28: 10th Grade World Lit

This Week: This week, we will start our next unit on Elie Wiesel's memoir, Night. I have a class set, so you do not need to purchase a copy of the book. Please see me if you need to "check out" a copy for use at home.

We will also work on Unit 11 Vocab this week. Homework is due on Wednesday (Feb. 26), with the quiz on Friday (Feb. 28).

February 24-28: 9th Grade Lit and Comp

This Week: Welcome back from break! I hope we're all rested and ready to jump into the middle part of our semester. This week, we will ease back into the routine with two workdays for The Odyssey Theme Park Project. While this project is due Friday, February 28 (at the BEGINNING of class), Monday and Tuesday are the LAST TWO DAYS that you will have time to work on your project during the class period. Use your time wisely and do not put this project off until the last moment.

On Wednesday, we will start our next unit on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. We will be reading the graphic novel in class. I have a class set, so you will not need to purchase your own copy of the book. Please see me or the media center specialists if you need to "check out" a copy of this book for home use.

Lastly, this week, we will be working on Unit 11 Vocab. Homework is due on Thursday (Feb. 27) and the quiz is on Friday (Feb. 28).
